In 2023 Clara released her debut EP Sacred Geometry along with 5 music videos; recorded and released two selections from Handel's Messiah; performed with Emmet Cahill of Celtic Thunder in an Irish American Celebration; performed and recorded with Lyceum Harp Ensemble; sang Mahler's 3rd Symphony with the Utah Symphony (under the baton of Thierry Fischer); as well as private concerts. 

 

In 2022 Clara recorded her first EP with producer Leo Z.

Clara's 2022 season was capped off with performances of Messiah with the Utah Symphony and Oratorio Society of Utah; the release of her first EP recording with guest artists Jenny Oaks Baker and Nathan Pacheco and a concert tour entitled "Light and Dark"at international Mask Fest in San Marino and venues in the Emiglia-Romagna region and Rome, Italy with pianist Antonio D'Abramo. Earlier this year she collaborated with Gentri; premiered a new work Fils de Dieu by Jared Oaks with UVU Women's Chorus and with Opera Contempo; sang the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor with Lyrical Opera Theater; Concertized with her group Divamoms; and performed First Elf in Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream with Utah Metropolitan Ballet.  

 

 

2020-2021 included a recording and performances with Nathan Pacheco and Lyceum Philharmonic; performances of Brahms' Requiem with UVU Chamber Choir (under the batons of Reed Criddle and Craig Jessop); Clairieres dans le ciel with Intermezzo Concert Series; and Auf dem Strom and The Wondrous Milligram with Intermezzo Concert Series. 

 

2019 included soloing in Britten's Te Deum with the Orchestra on Temple Square and the Temple Square Chorale (Conducted by Ryan Murphy), A Community Easter Celebration at the Alpine Tabernacle, An Evening of Exquisite Music (Salt Lake Public Library with Isaac Hurtado and Jared Oaks),Il Viaggio: A Musical Journey through Europe (Temple Square Concert Series with Isaac Hurtado and Antonio D'Abramo),  Handel's Messiah (Morgan and Draper Symphonies).

 

2018 included soloing in Handel's Messiah (Oratorio Society of Utah and Draper Symphony),  Bach's Magnificat (Alpine Chamber Choirs conducted by Derrick Fox), A staged version of Bach's St Matthew Passion (Salt Lake Choral Artists conducted by Brady Allred and directed by Anthony Buck), Brahms' Requiem (The Temple Square Chorale and Orchestra at Temple Square conducted by Ryan Murphy),Celebrating Terpsichore: A Salon Concert (Ballet West Guild), Random Acts of Opera (Utah Opera) at the Utah Arts Festival, Schubert's Shepherd on the Rock (Intermezzo Concert Series with Vedrana Subotic and Lee Livengood), Gilda (cover for Jennifer Welch Babige) in Verdi's Rigoletto (Utah Light Opera), Concerts in Italy for the Friends of Gioachino Rossini and Pergolesi societies, Handel’s Messiah (Oratorio Society of Utah and the Draper Symphony),  and Dan Forrest’s Lux: Dawn from on High and Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols (Salt Lake Vocal Artists)

In 2016-2017 Ms. Hurtado Lee made her Utah Opera debut as a featured ensemble member and cover for Aldonza and Maria.  She soloed in a Vivaldi cantata with Wasatch Chorale, in Messiah with Draper Symphony, and with Salt Lake Choral Artists in their Christmas concert.  She also performed the role of Micaela in Carmen with Lyrical Opera theater and sang the roles of Gabriel and Eve in Haydn's Creation with Salt Lake Choral Artists.  She traveled with Salt Lake Choral Artists to Spain to participate in the World Symposium on Choral Music.

 

In 2015-2016 Clara sang Aldonza in the Draper Arts Council production of Man of La Mancha.  She appeared with the Draper Symphony as the soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah and with the Utah Valley Symphony as the soprano soloist in Howard Blake's The Snowman. She was a featured guest in Utah Lyric Opera's Valentine's Concert "Love is in the Air" opposite Ultimi 3 Tenors.  Ms. Hurtado Lee collaborated with soprano Melissa Heath, pianist Jeffrey Price, mezzo-soprano Demaree Brown, and trumpeter Seretta Hart in a concert on the Temple Square Concert Series.  She closed the spring singing the roles Mimi and Musetta in Puccini's La Boheme (in alternate casts) with Lyrical Opera Theater. 

2014-2015 included a Gala Performance with Utah Lyric Opera sharing the stage with Metropolitan Opera soprano Jennifer Welch Babige.  Ms. Hurtado Lee competed in the national art song competition NATS Artist Award winning for the Cal-Western Region and competing as a National Semi-Finalist in Boston where she recieved the Harold Stark award.  Ms. Hurtado Lee performed on the Springville Museum of Art Concert Series in two concerts; one alongside Carol Anderson, pianist and one with the Nancy Marriott Vocal Quartet and pianist Jed Moss.  She had multiple radio appearances and interviews on Classical 89.  Clara completed her first Doctoral recital featuring works of Szymanowski, Ravel, Bloch, Schubert, Handel, and Leroy Robertson.  As a concert soloist Clara appeared with the Salt Lake Choral Artists at the ACDA convention and with the Draper Symphony in Handel's Messiah.  She sang exerpts of Charles Wakefield's opera Shaneweis with Composer's Discovery Initiative.  Ms. Hurtado Lee was featured by Utah Opera in a concert with tenor Brian Stucki and pianist Jason Hardink as a cultural presentation in the General Episcopal Convention.

Ms. Hurtado Lee has appeared with American West Symphony, Ballet West Guild, Collaborative Vocal Artists of Utah, Draper Symphony, Intermezzo Chamber Music Series, La Musica Lirica (Italy), Lyrical Opera Theater, Mormon Artist's Group, Oratorio Society of Utah, The Orchestra of Temple Square and The Temple Square Chorale, Quest Productions, Salt Lake Choral Artists, Salt Lake Vocal Artists, Standing Opera Company, Utah Symphony & Utah Opera, Utah & Idaho Performing Arts Company, Utah Light Opera, Utah Lyric Opera, and Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble.

​Her concert works include; Bach's Magnificat; Bach's St Matthew Passion; Beethoven's Choral Fantasy; Berlioz' Romeo and Juliet (petite choeur); Brahms' Requiem; Faure's Requiem, Gardner's Joseph Smith the Prophet; Handel's Israel in Egypt; Handel's Messiah; Haydn's Creation; Jenkins' The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace; Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream, Mozart's Regina Coeli, Mozart Mass in C minor; Pergolesi's Stabat Mater; Rutter's Magnificat; Schubert's Mass in G; Vivaldi's Gloria; Lloyd Weber's Requiem.     

 

Ms. Hurtado Lee began her Doctoral studies in the Fall of 2014 at the University of Utah where she won a coveted spot in the Nancy Marriott Graduate Vocal Quartet.
